Terms of Service

1. Eligibility
To rent a vehicle from Rimaar Car Rental, you must:
- Be at least 21 years of age at the time of rental.
- Hold a valid driver's license that has been active for at least one year.
- Present a valid credit or debit card in your name at the time of pickup.
- Provide proof of valid auto insurance covering the rental vehicle.
2. Reservations and Booking
Reservations are held in a pending state for up to 15 minutes after initiation. If payment is not completed within that window, the reservation is automatically cancelled and the vehicle becomes available again.
You may hold at most one pending reservation at a time. Confirmed reservations are binding on both parties.
3. Rental Period and Day Calculation
The rental period begins at your scheduled pickup time and ends at your scheduled return time. Any partial day counts as a full day.
Total charges are calculated as:
Example: A rental from 9:00 AM Monday to 2:00 PM Tuesday = 2 days (29 hours rounds up to 2).
The total price is locked at the time of booking confirmation and will not change due to rate fluctuations after that point.
4. Damage Deposit
At the time of vehicle pickup, a $500 pre-authorization will be placed on your credit card as a damage deposit. This hold is not a charge — it is released upon return of the vehicle in its original condition.
If damage is discovered at return, the actual cost of repair (up to the pre-authorization amount) may be captured. Damage exceeding the deposit amount may be subject to additional billing.
5. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your reservation at no charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled pickup time through your account dashboard.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of pickup cannot be processed through the website. Please contact us directly at (404) 424-3134 or rimaarcarrental@gmail.com.
6. Fuel Policy
Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel. You are required to return the vehicle with the same fuel level as received. Failure to do so will result in a refueling charge at our posted rate.
7. Additional Drivers
Only drivers listed on the Rental Agreement are authorized to operate the vehicle. Additional drivers must be present at pickup with a valid driver's license, meet the minimum age requirement, and be added to the agreement before the rental begins.
8. Vehicle Use Restrictions
The rented vehicle may not be:
- Used for commercial purposes, ridesharing, or delivery services.
- Driven outside the contiguous United States without prior written consent.
- Operated under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any impairing substance.
- Used in any race, contest, or off-road activity.
- Operated by anyone not listed on the Rental Agreement.
9. Accidents and Roadside Incidents
In the event of an accident, theft, or roadside incident, you must:
- Contact emergency services if needed.
- Notify us immediately at (404) 424-3134.
- Obtain a police report number where applicable.
- Do not admit fault or make any promises to third parties.
10. Limitation of Liability
Rimaar Car Rental is not liable for personal property left in vehicles, indirect or consequential damages, or losses arising from vehicle breakdown beyond our reasonable control. Our liability is limited to the total rental charges paid for the affected rental period.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Prince George's County, Maryland.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
